In memory of…
District Chief James E. Seay Jr., served the Nashville Metropolitan Fire Department for over 34 years, saving and protecting life while his life was heading into an unforeseen spiral of two diseases, ALS and COPD. He was always a giving person, helping and assisting those alongside the road. His family have found him to be worthy of yet another way to give, with annual academic scholarships to colleges and high schools across Tennessee.
OUR MISSION
To provide scholarships to persons who do not meet the requirements to receive government assistance. To collaborate with Colleges and Universities in Tennessee, seeking students who are interested in finding cures toward research of terminally, chronic, or environmentally influenced diseases or dysfunctions to employ a research approach that incorporates clinical and basic mechanistic studies to address disease etiology, pathogenesis, susceptibility, progression, & prognosis.
